The Columbus High School Cardinal Band performed during halftime ceremonies of the Columbus- Cuero football game last Friday night. The marching band is under the direction of Alexander Busby, director of bands. The band is led by drum major Cullen Dyer, below right. Other halftime festivities included a performance by the Columbus Cardinal Belles and Columbus High School cheerleaders. Columbus lost the opening contest of the season but will return to action this Friday to take on La Grange and look to even its record at 1-1 on the season.
