JULY 4

At 12:00 am Ofc. Haman along with Sgt. Neumann responded to the 900 block of Martin Luther King St in reference to possible Theft. Information was received.

At 12:12 am Ofc. Avalos responded to the 900 block of Bowie St in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was gone upon arrival.

At 5:15 am Ofc. Avalos responded to the 300 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was not located.

At 10:19 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2400 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, Yolanda Almanza was arrested for Public intoxication and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 11:50 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1600 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a 911 hang-up. Officers arrived and learned it was accidental.

JULY 5

At 8:45 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2400 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was located and removed from the property.

At 10:55 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was gone upon arrival.

At 1:00 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 100 block of Jane Dr in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

JULY 6

At 11:54 am Ofc. Salinas, along with Sgt, Wilson, responded to the 400 block of Preston St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 11:09 pm Ofc. Smith, along with Lt. Lara, responded to the 1300 block of Fannin St in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 11:35 pm Ofc. Smith, along with Lt. Lara, conducted a traffic stop on the 1000 block of Washington St in reference to a vehicle violation. After further investigation, Maria Rios, of Columbus, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated third or more and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

JULY 7

At 12:17 pm Ofc. Avalos, along with Det. Kent responded to the 1100 block of Preston St in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, a subject was found deceased. Justice of the Peace Billy Hefner arrived on scene and stated the time of death and requested an autopsy.

At 2:20 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 2200 block of Walnut St in reference to a possible scam. Information was received.

At 9:53 pm Ofc. Smith along with Lt. Lara conducted a traffic stop on the 600 block of Austin St in reference to a vehicle violation. After further investigation, Summer Jenkins, of Katy was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated with a child under fifteen years of age and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

JULY 8

At 11:40 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1500 block of Montezuma St in reference to an escort.

At 2:42 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt. Neumann responded to the 2100 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was gone upon arrival.

At 5:37 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt, Neumann responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to a possible theft. Information was received.

JULY 9

At 7:45 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1400 block of Walnut in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 9:19 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1000 block of New World Dr in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 10:50 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1500 block of Montezuma St in reference to an escort.

At 11:45 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1400 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was located and removed from the property.

At 3:01 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1000 block of New World Dr in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located, and all was found to be in order.

At 8:24 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt. Neumann responded to the 1200 block of Montezuma St in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was gone upon arrival.

JULY 10

At 3:13 am Ofc. Avalos responded to the 400 block of Jones St in reference to possible shots fired. After further investigation, all was found to be in order.

At 8:02 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2000 block of Milam St in reference to an escort.

At 12:30 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 800 block of Martin Luther King St in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was located and removed from the property.

At 4:09 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt. Neumann responded to the 1700 block of Front St in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was located and removed from the property.

At 9:46 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt. Neumann responded to the 1300 block of Bowie St in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was located and all was found to be in order.

JULY 11 

At 11:40 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1500 block of Montezuma St in reference to an escort.

At 5:43 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to a possible disturbance. Subjects were gone upon arrival.

At 2:12 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1100 block of Spring St in reference to a wanted person. The subject was gone upon arrival.

JULY 12

At 1:52 am Avalos responded to the 900 block of Walnut in reference to a possible reckless driver. The vehicle was located and all was found to be in order.

At 3:11 am Ofc. Avalos responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 8:42 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 100 block of Legion Dr in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was not located.

At 10:26 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2200 block of Walnut in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located, and all was found to be in order.

At 10:06 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 800 block of Back St in reference to loud music. The music was not located.

At 10:10 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1200 block of Rampart St in reference to a civil matter.

Advice was given.

At 11:38 pm Ofc. Smith, along with Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1200 block of Walnut in reference to a wanted person. After further investigation, Darrell Ford of Columbus was arrested for Theft and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 11:52 pm Ofc. Smith, along with Lt. Lara, responded to the 700 block of Back St in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, the subjects were located, separated and removed from the property.

JULY 13

At 2:27 am Ofc. Pospisil conducted a traffic stop on the 2200 block of Walnut in reference to reckless driving. After further investigation, Aaron Davis Jr was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 12:12 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was gone upon arrival.

JULY 14

At 12:40 am Ofc. Smith, along with Lt. Lara, responded to the 2000 block of Bowie St in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was located, and all was found to be in order.

At 10:45 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 3200 block of Columbus Loop in reference to a 911 hang-up. The officer arrived and learned it was accidental.

At 2:13 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1500 block of Fannin St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 8:41 pm Ofc. Smith, along with Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was located, and all was found to be in order.

JULY 15

At 12:16 am Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1000 block of Walnut in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 5:40 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt. Neumann responded to the 200 block of Oak Cluster Dr in reference to a wanted person. The subject was not located.

At 7:00 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt. Neumann responded to the 400 block of Jones St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 7:23 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt. Neumann responded to the 1200 block of Walnut St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 8:29 pm Ofc. Smith, along with Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 800 block of Charter St in reference to a suspicious person. The subjects were gone upon arrival.

JULY 16

At 4:23 am Ofc. Avalos responded to the 400 block of Jones St in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, all was found to be in order.

At 10:02 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 400 block of Charter St in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 1:01 pm Det. Kent responded to the 100 block of Memorial Ln in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located, and all was found to be in order.

At 12:04 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 800 block of Martin Luther King St in reference to a possible assault. After further investigation, a subject was identified, located, and given a written citation.

At 2:48 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2400 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was not located.

At 3:42 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt. Neumann responded to the 1000 block of Walnut in reference to a 911 hang-up. Officers arrived and learned it was accidental.

At 3:55 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt. Neumann responded to the intersection of Columbus Loop and Montezuma in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 8:55 pm Ofc. Avalos conducted a traffic stop on the 2100 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a vehicle violation. After further investigation, Colin Cason was arrested for a warrant out of Fayette County and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

JULY 17

At 8:17 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 700 block of Hancock in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, the subject was found deceased. Justice of the peace Billy Hefner arrived on scene and stated the time of death and determined the cause of death was natural causes.

At 9:29 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1100 block of Milam in reference to an escort.

At 9:30 am Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 2000 block of Milam in reference to an escort.

At 11:23 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 100 block of Smith St in reference to a wanted person. The subject was located and removed from the property.

At 12:59 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 700 block of Prairie St in reference to a possible assault. After further investigation, Reginald Nellon was arrested for Assault/Family Member with Previous Conviction and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 1:50 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1700 block of Walnut in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was not located.

At 3:56 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt. Neumann responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, the subjects were located, issued a criminal trespass warning, and removed from the property.

At 7:11 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt. Neumann responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

JULY 18

At 2:23 am Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1200 block of Fannin in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was located, and all was found to be in order.

At 3:02 am Ofc. Avalos responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located, and all was found to be in order.

At 1:19 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was located, and all was found to be in order.

At 2:54 pm Ofc. Pospisil, along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the 100 block of Railroad Ave in reference to a disturbance. After further investigation, Jessica Woods, of Columbus was arrested for Deadly Conduct and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 3:47 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt. Neumann responded to the 2200 block of Walnut in reference to possible harassment. Information was received.

At 5:04 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the intersection of Walnut and Prairie in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 6:02 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt. Neumann responded to the 1200 block of Montezuma St in reference to an unwanted person. After further investigation, all was found to be in order.

At 6:21 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt. Neumann responded to the 1100 block of Walnut in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was not located.

At 11:13 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1300 block of Fannin in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

JULY 19

At 2:30 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 900 block of Preston St in reference to an escort.

At 5:11 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located, and all was found to be in order.

At 12:22 am Ofc. Smith, along with Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 100 block of Fannin St in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, Geraldo Hernandez of Columbus was arrested for Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 10:31 pm Ofc. Smith, along with Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to possible Theft. Information was received.

JULY 21

At 12:33 am Ofc. Smith, along with Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1500 block of Bowie St in reference to a 911 hang-up. Officers arrived and learned it was accidental.

At 2:01 am Ofc. Smith, along with Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1400 block of Walnut in reference to a suspicious person. After further investigation, Ronney Matthews of Columbus was arrested for Criminal Trespass and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 11:00 am Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1600 block of Bowie St in reference to an escort.

At 11:21 am Ofc. Avalos responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a possible reckless driver. The vehicle was not located.

At 1:49 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the intersection of Hwy 71 and New World Dr in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 4:38 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1300 block of Back St in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located, and all was found to be in order.

At 4:19 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 600 block of Front Street in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was located and removed from the property.

JULY 22

At 2:27 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1100 block of Houston St in reference to possible criminal mischief. Information was received.

At 2:42 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the 696 exit ramp in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 4:12 pm Sgt. Neumann responded to the 1200 block of Montezuma St in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, the subjects were located, separated, and removed from the property.

At 9:38 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1600 block of Milam in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located, and all was found to be in order.

At 10:21 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

JULY 23

At 8:30 am Ofc. Haman responded to the 600 block of Preston St in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was gone upon arrival.

At 10:45 am Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1100 block of Rampart St in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located, and all was found to be in order.

At 12:15 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1100 block of Washington St in reference to criminal mischief. After further investigation, all was found to be in order.

At 5:00 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1400 block of Crockett St in reference to a wanted person. After further investigation, Brandon Emmons of Columbus was arrested on a parole warrant and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 6:22 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to a possible scam. Information was received.

At 9:55 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

JULY 24

At 9:36 am Ofc. Haman responded to the 2000 block of Milam in reference to an escort.

At 1:44 pm Ofc. Haman along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2000 block of Hwy 71 in reference to possible forgery. After further investigation, Donald Ray Gibbs Jr was arrested for Forgery and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.
