Turtle Wing Foundation begins year 15

As Turtle Wing Foundation begins the milestone 15th year, we want to share an update on the work and progress. Guided by the mission of “helping individuals with learning challenges in rural areas achieve their full potential by providing access to a shared network of emotional, educational, and therapeutic resources,” this past year has been one of meaningful growth and success.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we’ve expanded funding for services and strengthened our provider network—reaching hundreds more families with children who face learning challenges.

For those who may not know us, Turtle Wing serves as a vital resource hub. We connect families to the services and support they need to help their children thrive. Beyond bridging families to providers in the community, most of our funding goes directly toward helping families afford care. From therapeutic and educational support to recreational opportunities, Turtle Wing provides a wraparound approach for families in Fayette, Lavaca, and Colorado counties.

In this past fiscal year alone, Turtle Wing funded over 9,000 sessions of services ranging from speech therapy, to tutoring, to inclusive dance class for over 320 individuals with learning challenges.

As the organization begins its 15th year, we not only celebrate the successes that brought us here but also embrace the opportunity to transform even more lives in the years ahead.

Turtle Wing Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
