AUG. 1
At 8:40 am Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1400 block of Montezuma St in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was located, and all was found to be in order.
At 1:00 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1000 block of Martin Luther King St. in reference to an unwanted person. After further investigation, Johnny Vasquez Jr was arrested for Public Intoxication and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.
At 3:08 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to possible identity theft. Information was received.
At 4:23 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1500 block of Sunset Dr in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was located, and all was found to be in order.
At 5:27 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1100 block of Front St in reference to a wanted person. After further investigation, John Jory was arrested on a Bastrop County warrant and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.
At 8:10 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 696 exit ramp in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.
At 11:48 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1400 block of Rampart St in reference to loud music. The music was located and turned down.
AUG. 2
At 8:20 am Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2100 block of Walnut St in reference to a 911 hangup. Officers arrived and learned it was accidental.
At 11:42 am Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the 800 block of Preston St in reference to an escort.
At 7:20 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 2000 block of Milam St in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located, and all was found to be in order.
At 7:56 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1000 block of New World Dr in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located, and all was found to be in order.
At 11:15 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1000 block of Jennifier Ln in reference to a vehicle accident. After further investigation, Michael Henderson of Columbus was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.
AUG. 3
At 1:31 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1000 block of Walnut in reference to possible theft. Information was received, case pending.
At 9:41 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 500 block of Walnut in reference to possible theft. Information was received.
At 1:42 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located, and all was found to be in order.
At 9:36 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1400 block of Walnut in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was located, and all was found to be in order.
At 10:06 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 400 block of Milam in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.
AUG. 4
At 11:39 am, Lt. Lara responded to the 100 block of Jane Dr in reference to a reckless driver. The vehicle was located, and all was found to be in order.
At 2:33 pm, Lt. Lara responded to the 1400 block of Fannin St in reference to possible Theft. Information was received.
At 5:15 pm Sgt. Neumann responded to the intersection of Spring St and Rampart in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.
AUG. 5
At 3:49 am Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 2000 block of Milam in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.
AUG. 6
At 8:23 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1200 block of Montezuma St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.
At 9:01 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 300 block of North St in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, all was found to be in order.
At 4:07 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1500 block of Back St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.
At 2:49 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 300 block of Walnut St in reference to a 911 hang-up. Officers arrived and learned it was accidental.
At 5:45 pm Lt. Lara responded to the 1200 block of Montezuma St in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, all was found to be in order.

At 8:27 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2000 block of Milam in reference to an escort.
At 11:45 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1400 block of Montezuma St in reference to possible theft. Information was received.
At 3:04 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2100 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.
At 5:33 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1200 block of Montezuma St in reference to an unwanted person. The subjects were located, separated, and removed from the property.
At 7:42 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1200 block of Montezuma St in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was not located.
AUG. 8
At 10:47 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1400 block of Montezuma St in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, the subjects were located, separated, and removed from the property.
At 9:09 am Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 100 block of Fairview in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was not located.
At 3:19 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1300 block of Prairie St in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, a subject was found deceased. Justice of the Peace 4 Stan Warfield arrived on scene and stated the time of death and determined the cause of death was natural causes.
At 7:16 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the I-10 exit ramp in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.
At 7:44 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1000 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.
AUG. 9
At 1:44 am Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1100 block of Robson St in reference to a 911 hang-up. The officer arrived and learned no emergency was needed.
At 2:20 am Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1100 block of Robson St in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, all was found to be in order.
At 8:45 am Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 800 block of Bonham St in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was located, and all was found to be in order.
At 12:12 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.
At 5:14 pm Ofc. Godfrey responded to the 200 block of Tait St in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.
At 8:50 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Lt. Lara, responded to the 700 block of Rampart in reference to possible theft. After further investigation, Hal Kunz of Columbus was arrested for credit card or debit card abuse and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.
AUG. 10
At 10:20 am Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 200 block of McCormick St in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was not located.
At 11:10 am Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 100 block of Fairview St in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located and all was found to be in order.
At 3:35 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was located and removed from the property.
AUG. 11
At 5:23 am Sgt. Neumann responded to the 100 block of Shult Dr in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.
At 8:48 am Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 500 block of Spring St in reference to an escort.
At 11:30 am Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1000 block of New World Dr in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, the subjects were located, separated, issued a criminal trespass warning, and removed from the property.
At 1:32 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1800 block of Walnut in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was not located.
At 2:24 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was not located.

At 1:58 am Sgt. Neumann responded to the 1000 block of New World Dr in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, all was found to be in order.
At 10:54 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 600 block of Bonham St in reference to an escort.
At 1:35 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 100 block of Shult Dr in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was not located.
