The September Community Beautification Award was awarded to Grand Oaks Antiques & Gifts at 1034 Milam St. A small, galvanized tub adorns the front sidewalk of this antiques and gifts mall featuring many local vendors. The bright pink and rosepink periwinkles and fern trailing over the tub bring a fresh welcoming appeal to the hot days of late summer. A cute ladybug decorative ornament adds whimsy.
