CONNECTIONS TO THE COUNTY

The University of Texas at San Antonio’s volleyball team has played eight games so far this season and a former Columbus Lady Cardinal is making her presence felt. In just her second season at UTSA Ally Tribe has become a vital piece for this team. So far this season Tribe has recorded 98 kills which lead the Roadrunners in 2025. Not only that she also leads the team in points (117) and server aces (10) but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Tribe is doing a lot of good work on the defensive side of the ball as she has 79 recorded digs which puts her second on the team and 14 blocks which is 4th on the team. On top of that she is tied for first on the team with four block solo, which means she has blocked four attacks by herself that directly led to points for UTSA. Tribe will continue to put the work in on the court and try to help lift her team to a winning record at the upcoming Roadrunner Classic next week. Photo by UTSA Athletics
