The Weimar Ladycats traveled to La Grange to take on the Lady Leopards and it took all five sets to decide the winner.
The teams traded off set wins until the Lady Leopards secured the final win in the fifth set.
The first set saw the Lady Leopards dominate the Ladycats and take home a 25-17 victory, but the Ladycats quickly bounced back. They won the second set by a score of 25-10 to shift the momentum back in their favor.
With the match deadlocked at one set win a piece both teams played the third set with a very high intensity. Both teams got their shots in during the very pivotal third set but only one of them could walk away the winner.
The Lady Leopards ended up doing just enough and closed out the set with a score of 25-20. Then in the fourth set things got interesting because it needed overtime to find a winner.
The Ladycats and Lady Leopards put on a show in the fourth set as neither team gave an inch to the other. But the Ladycats continued to press offensively and secured the win in the fourth set to tie the match up at two sets a piece.

This set up one last showdown in the fifth and final set and the race to 15 points was on. The Ladycats did everything they could to try to bring this win home but unfortunately, they came just two points shy of doing so.
The Lady Leopards came away with a 15-13 win in the final set to end the game three sets to two in favor of the Lady Leopards.
The Ladycats will break down the film and figure out what went wrong before setting their sights on the Brazos Cougarettes on Tuesday, Sept. 16, on home court.
