All Americans should never forget the brave men and women who answered out Nation’s call and served the cause of freedom in a special way. Some of these brave Americans were taken as prisoners of war and others were and some still are missing in action.
National POW/MIA Recognition Day in 2025 will be observed this Friday, Sept. 19. This day honors those who were prisoners of war and those still missing in action, with various ceremonies and events held across the country.
Our local VFW Post 5875 and the VFW Auxiliary will host a “Missing Man Table” Ceremony at Parkview Nursing Home at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, September 19. They invite all interested persons in the community to experience this touching ceremony.
