The Boys & Girls Clubs of Champion Valley will be hosting Day for Kids on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Columbus Boys & Girls Club, 1368 Hwy 71 Business. This event is free to the public and is meant for families to come together to the Club for a few hours and do activities together. This event is also to encourage families whose children are not currently enrolled at the Club to come tour the Club and potentially become members.
In conjunction with Day for Kids, the Clubs are hosting a Giving Week to encourage communit y members to donate to Boys & Girls Clubs of Champion Valley to help continue to serve all local youth ages 6-18. The Clubs serve members during the school year and the summer and give them a safe place to learn and grow, all while having fun.
