Keep Columbus Beautiful Youth Art Show crowns winners

Unique young artists with strong recycling voices and enthusiasm for keeping our community clean entered their artwork in this year’s Keep Columbus Beautiful Youth Art Show. Currently on exhibit through Sept. 25 in the Laura Ann Rau Gallery of the Live Oak Art Center visitors still have time to view the works of local youth.

Keep Columbus Beautiful and Columbus Garden Club sponsored the 2025 Youth Art Show, open to area artists grades 1 – 8. The event features the first annual Poster Contest and Recycled Materials Art focusing on encouraging youth to help keep our planet green by taking an active role in anti-littering, recycling, and conservation.

Please Don’t Litter; Reduce, Reuse, Recycle; Don’t be a Litter Bug, and Keep Columbus Beautiful were featured themes in posters, while artists utilized recyclable materials to create art for the Recycled Art divisions.

The exhibits will be showcased in the Laura Ann Rau Gallery of the Live Oak Art Center through Sept. 25. The public is invited. The Live Oak Art Center at 1014 Milam St., Columbus, is located in beautiful Historic Downtown Columbus.
