AUG. 22
At 8:29 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1000 block of Crossroads in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.
At 10:55 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 900 block of Crockett St in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was not located.
At 12:46 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 200 block of Veteran Dr in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located and taken to the city pound.
At 12:59 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 300 block of North St in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located, and all was found to be in order.
At 5:19 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.
At 6:06 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located and all was found to be in order.
At 6:36 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1100 block of Walnut St in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, the subjects were located, separated, and removed from the property.
At 8:40 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 800 block of Live Oak St in reference to loud music. The music was located and turned down.
At 11:20 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1000 block of New World Dr in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was gone upon arrival.
AUG. 23
At 8:30 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2100 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.
AUG. 24
At 12:50 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1000 block of New World Dr in reference to a possible wanted person. After further investigation, Raul Miramontes of Columbus, was arrested for violating bond or protective order and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center. At 1:16 pm, Lt. Lara responded to the 1400 block of Montezuma St in reference to a 911 hang-up. The officer arrived and learned it was accidental.
At 3:39 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, a subject was found deceased. Justice of the Peace Billy Hefner arrived on scene and stated the time of death and determined the cause of death was natural.
At 9:13 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 700 block of Dewees St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given. AUG. 25
At 3:56 am Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was located, and all was found to be in order.
At 8:35 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 400 block of Walnut St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.
At 9:50 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.
At 10:10 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 500 block of Spring St in reference to an escort.
At 11:25 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1400 block of Back St in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, the subjects were located, separated, and removed from the property.
At 8:05 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located, and all was found to be in order.
At 8:30 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 1400 block of Montezuma St in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.
AUG. 26
At 6:20 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 4000 block of I-10 in reference to possible burglary of a vehicle. Information was received, case pending.
At 7:05 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to possible theft. Information was received.
At 9:13 am Det. Kent responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.
At 2:17 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 2400 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a disturbance. After further Investigation, Kenneth Tufts, of Houston, was arrested for possession of controlled substance and public intoxication and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.
At 1:50 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 300 block of Jones St in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located, and all was found to be in order.
At 10:56 pm Ofc. Pospisil conducted a traffic stop on the 1500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a vehicle violation. After further investigation, Jekwon Williams, of Columbus, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawfully carrying a weapon and was transported to the Colorado County Detention Center.
AUG. 27
At 5:15 am Ofc. Avalos responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.
At 7:10 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 800 block of Spring St in reference to a possible disturbance. The subjects were located, separated, and removed from the property.
At 11:20 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2200 block of Walnut St in reference to a scam. Information was received.
At 2:39 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 3000 block of Columbus Loop in reference to a reckless driver. The vehicle was not located.
At 8:50 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 400 block of Jones St in reference to a disturbance. After further investigation, the subjects were located, separated, and removed from the property.
At 9:08 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1100 block of Jackosn St in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, all was found to be in order.

At 3:05 am Ofc. Avalos responded to the 2400 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was located and all was found to be in order.
At 9:22 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2000 block of Milam in reference to an escort.

At 4:31 am Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1500 block of Fannin in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.
