The Columbus Cardinals and Lady Cardinals cross country team traveled to Anderson-Shiro for the 17th Annual Becker Best cross-country meet.
Both the Cardinals and the Lady Cardinals had strong showings that included four runners finishing top 10 in their respective races.
Starting with the girls race the Lady Cardinals finished third as a team and had one runner finish in the top 10. On top of that they Lady Cardinals had two runners finish in the top 30 of the race.
The top 10 finisher was Kaylea Foster who came in 3rd place in the two-mile race. She was followed by Lexi Kulhanek and Kaylea McCarthy who came in 23rd and 25th place respectively.
As for the boy’s race the Cardinals had three runners finish in the top 10 and they were Elijah Owen, Christian Martinez and Zeyon Ramirez. They also had two runners finish in the top 30 and those runners were Jacob Owen and John Foster.
