Columbus Chamber announces new ambassador program

The Columbus Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the launch of its Ambassador Program, a new initiative designed to strengthen connections between the Chamber, its members, and the community.

Chamber Ambassadors are enthusiastic champions of the Chamber, serving as dedicated volunteers who advocate for local businesses and help foster growth in the Columbus area. These leaders play a vital role by supporting Chamber members, promoting community engagement, and creating meaningful opportunities for networking and collaboration.

The Ambassadors serve as the welcoming arm of the Chamber. Their work includes community outreach, business engagement, supporting ribbon cuttings and grand openings, networking and mixers, and member recruitment and retention. By volunteering their time and energy, Ambassadors not only expand their own networks but also make a lasting impact on the vitality of the local business community.

The Chamber is proud to introduce the 20252026 Ambassador Team: Matti Sprague of the Dewberry Café serving as Chair, Sandy Anderson of TruCare Living Centers as Vice Chair, and Anna Shultz of Blue Ribbon Grounds as Board Liaison. Other Ambassadors include Erica Rex of Awesome Plumbing, Angela Mlcak of Great Southern Wood, Ester Chandler, Renowned History Buff, John Jones of Seniors Together, LaKesha (Nikki) Upson of Encompass Rehabilitation of Katy, James Janik of Texas Farm Bureau Insurance of Colorado County and TaKeshia Hodge of Columbus Oaks Healthcare Community.

The Chamber looks forward to the positive influence this group will bring as they work to strengthen local businesses and build community pride. For more information about the Ambassador Program or the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, please visit www. columbustexas. org.
