The Weimar Wildcats fall to 3-3 on the 2025 season after they were defeated by the Ganado Indians Friday night.
It was a blowout loss for the Wildcats as they were defeated by the Indians by a final score of 49-8.
The Game started out really strong for the Wildcats as they scored the opening touchdown of the game. Ace Mesa was handed the ball and from seven yards out he was able to find the endzone for a touchdown.
The Wildcats then converted on the twopoint conversion, and that would be the last we would see of the Wildcats’ offense in this game. The Wildcats held an 8-0 lead early in the game, but the Indians came storming back.
They scored not just one but four touchdowns in the first quarter after the Wildcats opened the scoring. The Indians carried a 28-8 lead into the second quarter where they continued to pour on the points.
The Indians scored two more times in the second quarter to extend their lead to 42-8 and that would be the score at halftime. Then finally in the fourth quarter the Indians scored their final touchdown to make the score 49-8.

It was a tough night for the Wildcats as they struggled in all three phases of the game and ultimately came up ono the losing end.
Collin Morrison threw the ball six times Friday night; he completed two of those six passes for thirty yards and two interceptions. Jerron Fisher also threw a pass Friday night, and he completed it for 55 yards.
In the run game FIsher also led the way with eight carries for 65 yards, followed by Mikael Shifatu who carried the ball 12 times for 24 yards. Then Ace Mesa carried the ball eight times for 20 yards and scored the lone Wildcat touchdown.
Raul Sierra led the team with 10 tackles with Collin Morrison racking up nine tackles. Mesa also had 8.5 tackles Friday night with Shifatu right behind him with 5.5 tackles in Friday’s loss to Gando.
The Wildcats will now look to pick up another crucial district win on Friday, Oct. 17, when they travel on the road to take on Bloomington at 7:30 p.m.
