The Weimar Ladycats won the District Championship at the District Meet this week. That is now back-to-back years that they have won the district title as this team continues to develop into a powerhouse program. Last season they credited their team success because of their team bond. These girls are a very close group and want to see one another succeed, which paid off in a big way this year as they picked up a second District Championship in as many years. They now look ahead to the Regional Meet as they will look to punch their ticket to the State Meet and try to capture a State Championship.
