TUESDAY, JULY 1
At approximately 946 p.m. Sergeant Melendez, deputy Villarreal, and deputy Byars conducted a warrant service in the 400 block of N College Street, Weimar, Texas, 78962. Upon further investigation, James Edwards Wotipka, age 35, was arrested for possession of child porn child younger than 10, felony second degree. Case cleared by arrest.
At approximately 10:07 p.m. deputy Villarreal conducted a felony warrant service in the 400 block of West South Street in Weimar, Texas. Demetra Townsend-Johnson, age 52, of Weimar, was arrested for a felony warrant. The case was cleared by arrest
WEDNESDAY, JULY 2
At approximately 2:14 p.m. deputy Leihardt checked out an abandoned travel trailer on County Road 106 just south of the intersection of Highway 90A. The trailer was removed by Delgado’s wrecker service and will be entered into TCIC - NCIC.
At approximately 2:15 p.m. deputy Pavlicek conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Boothe Drive in Eagle Lake, Texas for a traffic violation. After further investigation, Dayveon Lee Lujan, age 19, of Houston, Texas was taken into custody for unlawful caring of a weapon - Class A misdemeanor. Case cleared by adult arrest.
An approximately 204 p.m. deputy Lopez had arrangements made for an elderly patient to be admitted to a geriatric facility for treatment. The patient was displaying signs of dementia and voluntarily signed himself in.
THURSDAY, JULY 3
At approximately 1:56 p.m. deputy Leihardt was dispatched to 4860 South Interstate 10 frontage Road in reference to an unwanted subject. A male subject was issued a criminal trespass warning after further investigation. Case closed. At approximately 4:12 p.m. deputy Blaha was dispatched to 693 eastbound Interstate 10 in reference to a road rage incident where one of the parties displayed a firearm. After further investigation, Christopher David Ibanez Cardenas, 20, of Alvin, Texas was arrested on deadly contact along with Daniela Fuentes, 18, of Rosharon, Texas arrested on deadly contact.
At approximately 9:27 p.m. deputy Smith was dispatched to a public service. Upon speaking with the subject, I made the subject location at 3307 County Road 106 in Rock Island, Texas and in reference to a terroristic threat call. Upon further investigation, a report was taken.
FRIDAY, JULY
At approximately 5:53 a.m. deputy Villarreal was out on a disabled vehicle on FM 3013 and Strickland Lane, in Eagle Lake Texas. After further investigation, the driver, Jaquarry Allen, age 26, of Eagle Lake, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance PG3. The case was cleared by a rest.
At approximately 3:54 p.m. deputy Lopez was dispatched to the splashway campgrounds in reference to property damage. A child threw a rot at a dipping dot stand and shattered the glass. A report was generated for insurance / money purposes. No charges were filed.
SATURDAY, JULY 5
At approximately 6:09 a.m. deputy Villarreal was dispatched to a public service call in reference to a crash that occurred on FM 106 near Rock Island. On arrival, he met with a driver of the crash and obtained information to generate a report. The case is active.
SUNDAY, JULY 6
At approximately 12:24 a.m. deputy buyers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle bearing a Texas temporary tag internet area of US Highway 90 and FM 2761 in reference to an expired registration. Upon further investigation, Steffon O Rien Sewell, age 32, of Houston, Texas was arrested for possession of a controlled substance PG2 greater than 1g - state felony jail, unlawful carrying a weapon - Class A misdemeanor. He was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia - Class c misdemeanor and open container alcoholic beverage. Case cleared by arrest.
MONDAY, JULY 7
At approximately 12:05 a.m. deputy Navarro and deputy buyers or dispatch to the area of Highway 90 alternate in Ramsey Road, Altair, Texas, and reference to a single motor vehicle accident.
