Raider of the week chosen by the science department is Jose Briones. His parents are Jose and Lupe Briones. Jose is in the 11th grade. While in high school Jose participates in cross country and track. Jose is a member of the marching band and the jazz band. He was elected as junior class reporter this year. Jose’s favorite class and teacher is English 3 Honors with Mrs. Beechwood. Outside of school Jose likes to run, take care of his brother, and hang out with his family. Jose also likes to attend band marching competitions on the weekends. After graduation Jose wants to run at the college and study physiology and major in kinesiology. His hopes are to help athletes understand their body and to flourish to their full potential.
