Reformation Celebration set for Oct. 26

The Annual Reformation Celebration sponsored by the Tri-County Cooperative Ministries (TCCM) will be hosted by Zion Lutheran Church in Moulton on Sunday, Oct. 26. The celebration begins with a concert by the Shiner Polka Spirit Band, starting at 4 p.m.

Zion is located at 307 North Hackberry. Anyone may attend the event but need to secure meal tickets ahead of time. A communion service follows the concert, along with a German meal of sausage, sauerkraut, potatoes and other side dishes and desserts. Come and you will have a great time. It’s also a time for us to come together as people of faith, praying for desperately needed rain and for peace and unity in our nation and the world.

TCCM, a cooperative ministry begun Jan. 1, 2003, serves communities and congregations in Lavaca, Fayette and Colorado Counties. TCCM’s ministers are Pastors Herb Beyer and John Hunsicker.

Tickets are available at any one of the TCCM congregations—St. Peter Lutheran Church, West Point; Zion Lutheran Church, Moulton; Faith Lutheran Church, Weimar; Evangelical Lutheran Church, Witting; Zion Lutheran Church, Sublime or by contacting and reserving tickets through Pastor Herb Beyer (361-798-0155, [email protected]) or Mimi Richter (979-877-4544, [email protected] or [email protected]). Tickets can be reserved ahead of time.
