“Prospective Girl Scouts seek members to charter new troop,” which ran on Oct. 21, incorrectly labeled the girls’ troop as belonging to the Girl Scouts of America. The prospective troop will be part of Scouting America, which was previously called Boy Scouts of America. The oath would also be the Scout Oath, not the Girl Scout Promise. The Citizen regrets the error.
