Columbus Christian Women’s Organization (CCWO) hosted its annual fundraising gala themed this year “Passports – Around the World” at the end of September.
The gala featured a live auction, a silent auction, a fashion show and plated food service. The colorful, themed decor focused on international travel and highlighted various environments around the world including a safari, a beach, the French countryside, Mardi Gras, the Great Pyramids and more.
CCWO thanks Columbus locals and the surrounding community for their generosity and participation. CCWO was able to donate to: Boys and Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity, Family And Youth Services (FAYS), Columbus Education Foundation, Columbus Food Pantry, Columbus Community Hospital, Gabriel Project, Nesbitt Memorial Library Kids Summer Program, Stafford Opera House Renovations, Turtle Wing Foundation, Columbus Elementary School Clothes Closet, Deputy Santa, National Day of Prayer, Shop with a Cop, Taste of Columbus, CPS, Glidden Baptist Church, Loaves and Fishes, Wellness Council of the Greater Colorado Valley, Credit For Life Program for all Colorado County High School Seniors, “Senior Smiles”, Colorado County Transit, Crime Stoppers, and unscheduled disaster donations.
