SAS SAINTLY NEWS
SAS 4k students take a break from the Pumpkin Parade and add some more color to a downtown mural.

Halloween excitement continued last week with the SAS 4k and 5k classes participating in the downtown Pumpkin Parade. Local businesses generously handed out treats to costumed school children as they all enjoyed the beautiful fall weather. SAS appreciates all participating establishments for including St. Anthony School in this wonderfully generous event.

Last week was Red Ribbon Week and Saints were busy saying “NO” to drugs. Each day presented students with a theme to help understand the danger of drugs. Saints dressed up for each theme day, and the morning announcements reinforced that day’s topic to the student body. “Drugs are Spooky” and “Dreaming of a Wonderful Future” were just a couple of the ways in which students were reminded about the risks of drug use.
