Columbus Garden Club members from left Wanda Anglin, Sharon Heimann, Ann Pavliska, Dell Szymkowski and Nancy Galloway and other members of the club are getting ready for a National Garden Club Small Standard Flower Show to be on Thursday, Nov. 8 at Nesbitt Memorial Library, 529 Washington Street in Columbus from 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. The show will be open to the public. The Club is a member of National Garden Clubs, Inc., Texas Garden Clubs, Inc. and District IV of Texas Garden Clubs, Inc. The theme this year, “Dungeons and Dragons”, sounds like spooky fun so invite your friends and family. There will be container-grown horticultural exhibits, botanical arts exhibits, design exhibits and cut horticultural exhibits.
