The Courtyard Wine Bar at Live Oak Art Center welcomed an impressive and grateful crowd at their seasonal reopening, Thursday, Oct. 30.
Cooler fall temps arrived just in time as guests enjoyed the food menu they’ve come to know and love at The Courtyard, and of course, the flowing vino. The bar closes seasonally during the summer due to high temperatures and reopens each fall.
“To me, The Courtyard is truly a place of community. The atmosphere is different tfrom most places to gather in town. You can visit outside and enjoy this wonderful weather we are currently having,” Live Oak Art Center (LOAC) president Renee Long said. “Of course, The Courtyard helps to support LOAC. It’s not the most profitable endeavor for us, but it helps to promote LOAC in a positive manner.”
The tables feature unique Día de Muertos- themed centerpieces from LOAC’s annual Brunson Night fundraiser. LOAC Director Erin Story said the pieces were created by volunteers for the fundraiser and are available to purchase.
The mission of the Live Oak Art Center is to increase access to, appreciation of and participation in the visual arts. The Courtyard is located at 1014 Milam Street in Columbus.
