In response to the ongoing challenges faced by government workers affected by the current furlough, Columbus Food Pantry is pleased to announce that effective immediately, we will be accepting applications for assistance from furloughed government employees.
As many familes struggle to make ends meet during this uncertain time, Columbus Food Pantry is committed to providing support to those in need. Our food pantry aims to alleviate some of the pressures that furloughed workers and their families face by offering nutritious food and resources.
How to Apply
Eligible furloughed government workers in Colorado County can apply for assistance by visiting our pantry website at columbusfoodpantry. org or by stopping by our location (419 Washington) during our monthly distribution. The next distribution is Friday, Nov. 21, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
We encourage all furloughed employees and their families to take advantage of this opportunity. Our team is dedicated to providing a supportive and judgment- free environment, ensuring that everyone can access the help they need.
Community Support We are grateful for the continued support from our community, which enables us to provide these essential services. Local donations and volunteers make our work possible and we invite anyone interested in contributing or volunteering to reach out to us.
