The lovely wooden structure, nestled among live oak trees, sits on family-owned land that originally belonged to Taylor’s grandmother, Betty Terrell Evoritt. The building once served as an office at the Rod and Gun Club and, according to local lore, earned the name “the Clubhouse” because a par-3 golf course was located at the site. After the structure was moved to its present site, the name remained and was used as a hunting lodge until Taylor’s remodel transformed it into a vibrant event venue.
With a setting this beautiful, this 100+ year-old building doesn’t need to be “dressed up” for the holidays. Taylor’s Christmas décor is minimal. The interior will be simply adorned, letting the interior and exterior be the star of the show.
