Ladycats earn All- State Honors

The Weimar Ladycats volleyball and cross-country team received All-State honors this week as four players were selected to as a part of the Academic All-State team. The base requirements to make the Academic All-State team is to maintain a 3.5 GPA in the classroom and be a contributor to team success. For the volleyball team, Chayenne Booker was selected to the 1st Academic All-State team and was the lone Ladycat selected. For the cross-country team though, Aubrey Breska and Brooke Ohnheiser were selected for the 2nd Academic All-State team and Alazay Moreno was listed as an Honorable mention. These ladies worked hard for everything they have earned this season and now they are receiving statewide recognition for their efforts.
