Stephen Vasek started working at Brookshire Brothers on March 19, 1979, and retired November 12, 2025. He is looking forward to traveling after he retires. Stephen started as a bagger and moved up throughout the years to Produce Manager. “I had the privilege to work with Stephen for more than 40 years. He was dependable, knowledgeable, loyal and dedicated,” said co-worker Barbara Coleman. “We became a family and despite the weather, he would always show up to work.
