As the Thanksgiving holiday is upon us, St. Anthony School would like to express its gratitude to all those individuals and businesses in the community that continue to support and promote our school each year. Recent donations from Columbus KCs #2971 (for special projects), Columbus State Bank (for Chromebooks & picnic tables), and First State Bank (for new cafeteria water fountains & Chromebooks in memory of Karl Hill) have proven once again how fortunate SAS is to have such wonderful and giving sponsors.
In addition, Saint Anthony School is truly blessed to have amazing staff, families, and friends that give of themselves so that the light of Christ may continue shining through our students. Above all, we offer thanks to God for giving us the opportunity to do His work in this community. He has bestowed on us more than we could ever imagine and we continually pray that He reminds us to show gratitude through humility and simple acts of kindness. The faculty and staff of SAS wish you all a blessed Thanksgiving holiday with your families, making treasured memories for years to come!
Bishop Brendan Cahill visited campus last Friday, celebrating Mass for the student body. After Mass, and before visiting other classrooms, he spent some time with the 3rd grade class telling them about his childhood experiences, and how his Christ-like friendships carried him through a particularly trying time while in 3rd grade.
In need of a stocking stuffer? SAS students are currently selling Catholic Life Insurance raffle tickets. A $5.00 ticket buys a chance at winning $20,000.00 in prepaid Visa cards! St. Anthony School will also have a local winner drawn for a $1,000.00 prepaid Visa gift card. Tickets will be sold until Jan. 16, 2026, and prizes will be awarded on Feb. 13, 2026. All proceeds from tickets bought via an SAS student or the office go directly to St. Anthony Catholic School.
