As the Whistling Duck prepares to close its doors December 30th, Sierra Dawn Music be returning for one last show — the kind that’s less about goodbye and more about gratitude.

Lighted Christmas Parade

Join the city in Downtown Columbus for the annual Lighted Christmas Parade followed by lighting of the Christmas tree on the Courthouse Square.

Ladies Night Out

Enjoy shopping specials, food trucks, Santa bingo, wine sampling and horse and carriage rides. Buy a collectible wine glass and enjoy wine sampling. Glasses are on sale at the Chamber office.

Breakfast with Santa

Join Columbus Elementary School for their annual Christmas event free for everyone. Enjoy games, crafts, breakfast, hot cocoa, a silent auction, vendors and much more.

Ornament Painting

Saturday, Dec. 6 | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. | McCoy’s, 805 County Road | Weimar

Bring the kids out to your local McCoy’s to decorate ornaments and write letters to Santa – all project supplies provided. McCoy’s will also be collecting toys for its Holiday Toy Drive. Event is free of charge and while supplies last. No registration required. Happening at all McCoy’s locations.

Christmas Tasting Luncheon by Columbus Garden Club

The public is invited to join Columbus Garden Club at the The Lighthouse next to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church for a festive time of chatting, shopping the silent auction and Mistletoe Bag raffles, and sampling delicious dishes from our members. Weimar Down Home Christmas

Thursday, Dec. 11 | 5-8 p.m. | Weimar Gazebo, 198 S Center St | Weimar

Join the community for a magical hometown Christmas celebration with a lighted parade, Santa at the Gazebo after the parade, food trucks and vendors, colorful lights and Christmas music. The parade will start at 6 p.m. with lineup starting at 5 p.m. at Weimar Junior High. No registration is required to join the parade.

Happy Holiday Wreath Make & Take Class

Thursday, Dec. 11 | 6-9 p.m. | Live Oak Art Center, 1014 Milam St | Columbus

This class, taught by Hailey Noska, will guide participants through the process of making their own Happy and Hearty Holiday Wreath. Everyone of all skill levels are welcome, and all supplies will be included. Tickets are $65.

Eagle Lake Annual Christmas Parade of Lights

Saturday, Dec. 13 | 6 p.m. | The Rez 1908, 312 E Main St | Eagle Lake

Enjoy a fantastic view of the parade right from the patio of The Rez 1908 with illuminated floats from local community members and businesses lighting up Main Street. The Rez will have live music featuring Larry Waddell, delicious gumbo from Monster Bites Food Truck and plenty of festive cheer to go around! Seating starts at 6 p.m. Parade starts at 6:45 p.m.
