At 4:53 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1300 block of Rampart St in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, Paul Alvarez, out of Columbus, was arrested for Public Intoxication and was transported to the Colorado County Detention Center.
At 11:10 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1100 block of Texas Ave in reference to a vehicle accident. After further investigation, Umer Rashid out of Missouri was arrested for Unlawful carry of a weapon and was transported to the Colorado County Detention Center.
OCT. 26
At 8:29 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1000 block of New World Dr in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation all was found to be in order.
At 10:01 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1400 block of Fannin St in reference to a 911 hang-up. The Officer arrived and learned it was accidental.
At 10:13 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2100 block of Milam St in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 3:12 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1700 block of Fannin St in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, all was found to be in order.
At 3:06 pm Lt. Lara responded to the 500 block of Front St in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located and all was found to be in order.
At 4:35 pm Sgt. Neumann responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was located and removed from the property.
At 9:33 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 2200 block of Walnut St in reference to a possible scam. Information was received.

At 9:43 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 200 block of Veteran Dr in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.
At 12:07 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a wanted person. After further investigation, Sergio Garcia, out of Houston, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a dangerous drug, and a warrant out of Harris County and was transported to the Colorado County Detention Center.
At 1:17 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2200 block of Walnut St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given. At 4:36 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was gone upon arrival.
At 5:41 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1000 block of Milam St in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was located and all was found secure.
At 8:40 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 1200 block of Montezuma St in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

At 3:35 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 700 block of Spring St in reference to an abandoned vehicle. After further investigation, the vehicle was located and all was found to be in order.
At 4:35 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 700 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.
At 5:18 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 2100 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 7:45 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1500 block of Montezuma St in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.
At 4:45 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 100 block of Creek Bend Ln in reference to a suspicious person. After further investigation, the subject was located and removed from the property.
At 7:55 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1500 block of Montezuma St in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located, and all was found to be in order.
At 7:56 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 600 block of Prairie St in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, a subject was found deceased. Justice of the Peace Donald Clark arrived on scene and stated the time of death and requested an autopsy.
