The Rice Lady Raiders volleyball team had two of its players selected for the Academic All-State team. These players were chosen because they were leaders on the court for the Lady Raiders volleyball team as well as leaders in the classroom. They found a way to maintain a 3.5 GPA in their classes while juggling all of their athletic and extracurricular activities they might have. Those players were Raelee Nelson and Breelyn Freeman; they were a part of the senior leadership group that Head Coach Morgan Hunter leaned on heavily this season, and Nelson and Freeman delivered great leadership both on and off the court.
