KIST BY GRACE, a Christian Praise and Worship band based in Orchard, will be performing a Christmas concert Dec. 14, Sunday, beginning at 4 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 615 South Eagle, Weimar. The concert is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend.
Following the concert, attendees are invited to come to Faith’s Fellowship Hall for refreshments and celebration of the season. Enjoy the Christmas decorations, great music by the band, and refreshments as we celebrate the Christ of Christmas.
The members of the band have come together to keep God’s music and Word in the public place and produce an experience they hope will appeal to all walks of life. Celebrating Jesus Christ is, and always has been, the greatest celebration ever.
Most of the membership of KIST BY GRACE started their careers on stage in church and moved toward the secular genres such as country and rock. They have been on stage for the majority of their lives, entertaining audiences all over the United States and other countries.
The band consists of Debra Gayle originally from Petal, Mississippi, Kevin “KP” Peikert from Egypt, Texas, Melissa Mund from San Antonio, Jacob Reid from Houston, Bryan Graham from Paris, Michael Taylor from Lexington, Kentucky, Kim Nessler from Needville, and Anne Marie Suire from Beaumont. You’ll find Melissa Mund doing Vocals / Keys, Debra Gayle Vocals / Keys. Kevin Peikert Vocals / Lead and Acoustic Guitar / Keys, Bryan Graham Lead Guitar, Kim Nessler Cello, Anne-Marie Suire Violin, Jacob Reid Bass, and Michael Taylor Drums.
