Locals lined the downtown streets to watch the dazzling annual Columbus Christmas Parade with almost 40 floats, Tuesday night, Dec. 2. Hosted by the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, the parade awarded three floats with prizes to celebrate their creativity and holiday spirit. TruCare Living Centers won Best Car/Truck; Cowboy Construction won Best Lighted; and St. Anthony’s Catholic School won Best Overall.
After the parade, locals watched Columbus Mayor Lori An Gobert light the downtown Christmas tree. Frontier Rodeo Coffee Co. handed out hot chocolate topped with marshmallows, and Photos by Lydia captured family moments with Santa Claus.
