Even though the Weimar Wildcats season came to an end a couple of weeks ago, they are still receiving honors. The most recent being that one of their players was selected to be on the Academic All-State team. To be chosen for the Academic All-State team, players need to maintain a 3.5 GPA while being a contributing member on the field. Jerron Fisher did just that as he was a huge piece to the Wildcats playoff push this season. On top of that, he was leaned on heavily by the team and coaching staff for his leadership both on the field and in the classroom. Fisher took on this role confidently, and it helped him earn a spot on the Academic All-State team.
