The Weimar Wildcats have won three games in a row to even up their record at 3-3 to start the season.

The Wildcats took on the likes of Burton, Round Top-Carmine and the Tribe Warriors picking up victories in all three games.

@ Burton, W, 45-38 In their first game of this three-game stretch, the Wildcats took on the Burton Panthers, and it was a tough challenge for them. The Wildcats were up to the challenge though, and they picked up their first win of the season.

The game was tightly contested because they were playing in a tournament, and those games sometimes mean a little more. Teams want to get off to a good start to the season, and a strong showing in tournament play goes a long way.

The Wildcats were able to gut out a win over Burton to give them a bit of a confidence boost which they carried over into their next game against Round Top-Carmine.

@ Round Top-Carmine, W, 46-42 In their second game, the Wildcats had yet another tough game against the Round Top-Carmine Cubs. This game was very tight as neither team was able to hang onto a lead in this one.

The Wildcats eventually broke through late in the fourth quarter to give themselves enough of an edge to win the game. Defensively the Wildcats had to be sharp in the final minute of the game because Round Top-Carmine did everything they could to win this game.

Luckily, the Wildcats were able to hang onto their lead until the final buzzer to pick up their second win of the season. They now set their sights on the Tribe Warriors for their third game in this three-game stretch.

Vs. Tribe Warriors, W, 56- 42 The Tribe Warriors are a non-profit sports league organization that operates in Bastrop County. They competed in the tournament and ended up facing the Weimar Wildcats for their third game of the tournament.

The Wildcats jumped out to an early lead and held onto it to the final buzzer. It was a very compete game from the Wildcats as they picked up their third win of the year and their win in a row.

The Wildcats defeated the Tribe Warriors 5642 to give the Wildcats some more confidence as they look ahead to their next game.

The Wildcats are scheduled to take on the Moulton Bobkatz on Tuesday, Dec. 16, with tip off set for 6:15 p.m. in Weimar.
