Raider of the week chosen by the English department is Duran Amos. His parent is Nicki Ruiz. Duran is in the 10th grade. Duran’s favorite class is English 2-Honors with his favorite teacher Ms. Perez. While in high school Duran participates in student council, football, basketball, track, and takes all Honors classes. Outside of school Duran likes to practice for his sports, study, and play basketball with his friends. After graduation Duran wants to go to college to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. This will help with his dream to become a registered nurse.
