Christmas-time is near! St. Anthony students are celebrating the Christmas season and sharing the good news around town! Mrs. Glynn’s hand bell elective class performed at the Community Choir’s holiday concert last Sunday. Tomorrow, junior high students will share their voices as they sing Christmas carols for local assisted living residents. In addition, the SAS Early Childhood classes (3k, 4k, and 5K) will present their Christmas Pageant to family and friends beginning at 6pm tomorrow evening, 12/18.
During this Advent season, SAS students have been starting the day with special prayers and the Advent wreath lighting. The Advent wreath guides us in a countdown; a preparation to Jesus’ birth, with each candle representing the themes of Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love. Classes are taking turns preparing prayers and presentations that follow the current week’s theme.
Junior high students will rock around the Christmas tree at their annual Christmas Dance this evening. And this Friday, excited classes of all ages will enjoy their Christmas lunch parties and end the first semester with a Christmas pep rally. An early release this Friday, 12/19 @ 12:30pm will kick off Christmas break. Students can enjoy the holidays with family unt il classes resume on 1/6/26!
