Lights to make spirits bright

The Columbus Chamber of Commerce announced the glowing winners of their annual Holiday Decorating Contest. The Chamber judged nine residential and four commercial entries this year. Each winner received a trophy and a cash prize sponsored by Latte Cafe – Columbus.

1st Place: Against the Grain - 1136 Milam Street

2nd Place: Donna’s Attic - 735 Walnut Street

3rd Place: Mid-Coast Title Company, Inc. - 410 Walnut Street

1st Place: Zack & Amy Venghaus - 617 Milam Street

2nd Place: Debi & John Obenhaus - 635 Milam Street

3rd Place: Anna & Branden Shultz - 336 Dewees Street

The Chamber also invited locals to travel around town for lighted Christmas tour. Over a dozen participating homes feature festive, colorful and lighted displays for families to enjoy. Don’t forget to bring hot chocolate and Christmas cookies!
