To start things off, let’s go back to the start of the Goliad tournament when the Ladycats took Sinton in game one. It was a close game with the Ladycats just falling just short with a score of 44-37.
Not the worst showing for the Ladycats, but it was a loss that they wanted back as they entered game two. Game two was just as tough as game one with the Ladycats falling short again on the scoreboard with a score of 4231.

In game three it was more of the same for the Ladycats as they were handed their third loss of the tournament. The lost to the London Pirates with a score of 59-35 and this was a turning point for the Ladycats as they used this loss to fuel them to three straight wins.
