URBAN PRESENTED WITH QUILT OF VALOR

Raymond Urban Jr. is a 1965 graduate of Columbus High School and a Vietnam Veteran who served with the First Calvary in Vietnam. Rayis a member of Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 870. Quilts of Valor was presented to Raymond Urban Jr. who is VVA Chapter 870 Member. Anita Todd representing the Colorado Valley Quilt Guild, Ron Dorsey Treasurer of VVA # 870, Don Christen Vice President of VVA# 870 presented the quilt to Urban and not in the picture was Andy Janda President of VVA # 8970. The quilt was made and donated by the Members of Colorado Valley Quilt Guild of LaGrange, in partnership with the Quilts of Valor Foundation. The National Quilts of Valor Foundation has awarded quilts to over 414,000 veterans since its creation in 2003. Its mission is to award these special quilts to veterans who have been touched by war.
