Recently two people apart of the Columbus Lady Cardinals program reached the 1,00 milestone. The first was Lady Cards Head Coach Mike Albers who recorded his 1,000th win as head coach. This adds to the legacy of a man who is such a big part of Columbus and is so deserving of this milestone because he worked hard and put some really great Lady Cardinal teams on the basketball court over the years. The second was junior guard Anaya Gardner, who recorded her 1,000th career point for the Lady Cards. She is a tenacious and passionate player that truly loves the game of basketball. She knows how to score, but she also knows how to be an outstanding teammate to help lift the Lady Cards to the success they are having this season.
