Weimar
Weimar utilizes CODERED by Crisis24 to send notifications for Colorado County via phone, email and/or text. Sign up by visiting https://weimartx.gov/community/ communications/ get-notified/ or calling the city at 979-725-8554.
The city frequently posts city announcements and updates on its Facebook page “City of Weimar, Texas” and Weimar Police Department’s Facebook page “Weimar Pol ice Department .” The city also publishes public notices on its website homepage www.weimartx.gov.
Eagle Lake
Eagle Lake primarily sends out notifications via its Facebook page “City of Eagle Lake.”

County
The Emergency Management Coordinator for Colorado County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is Charles L. Rogers. The department runs a public Facebook group “Colorado County Texas Office of Emergency Management” where it and other locals post updates and questions.
For continuous weather forecasts and emergency alerts, tune in to the nearest National Weather Service radio station: La Grange – WWG55 162.500. The station covers Colorado, Austin, Bastrop, Fayette, Lee and Washington counties.

The Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) sends call, text and/or email alerts about flood operations along the Highland Lakes and Lake Bastrop via its Flood Operations Notification Service (FONS).
