For her 102nd time Julia Austin was surrounded by friends to celebrate her birthday at Arbor Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center on Thursday, Feb. 19. Austin was extremely grateful to everyone who showed up for her birthday party, stopping the party a few times just to extend her gratitude to everyone there. “Y’all are just the dearest peo- ple,” Austin said during her birthday speech. She also thanked the people at Arbor Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for taking such good care of her and said ever since she has been there, she has been taken care of and feels at home even though she is not at home. Austin gave one final message as her party concluded though she said, “On Sunday, we go and thank the Lord for everything including places like this (Arbor Hills) and whatever Jesus has in mind for me while I am still here, I will do it.”
