At 9:00 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a possible scam. Information was received.
At 7:55 pm Ofc. Pospisil conducted a traffic stop on the 1200 block of Montezuma St in reference to a vehicle violation. After further investigation, Kevin Long of Columbus was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and was transported to the Colorado County Detention Center.
At 11:20 pm Ofc. Godfrey responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was located and all was found to be in order.

At 10:05 am Sgt. Neumann responded to the 2200 block of Walnut St in reference to a possible threats. Information was received.
At 2:05 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.
At 2:11 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2100 block of Milam St in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was located, issued a criminal trespass warning, and removed from the property.
At 3:52 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 300 block of Preston St in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located and taken to the city pound.
At 11:27 pm Ofc. Haman responded to the 300 block of Forest St in reference to loud music. After further investigation, the music was located and turned down.
