Stanzel Family Foundation releases ‘Fuel to Fly’ report

SCHULENBURG & WEIMAR — The Stanzel Family Foundation has released its 2024–2025 Annual Report, sharing stories and insights from its ongoing work in Schulenburg and Weimar.

The report reflects more than grants awarded. It highlights students pursuing new paths, families connecting to meaningful resources, and local organizations strengthening the fabric of their communities.

This year’s report, Fuel to Fly, highlights the Foundation’s focus on strengthening local organizations through capacity-building grantmaking. By investing in people, partnerships, and the work behind the scenes, these organizations are better able to grow, reach more people, and continue their impact over time.

These efforts are shaped by ongoing conversations with local educators, nonprofit leaders, and community members who understand these needs firsthand. Their perspectives help guide thoughtful, long-term investments in Schulenburg and Weimar.

Continuing this work requires both stewardship and engagement. The Foundation invites those who are interested in contributing their time or leadership to consider serving on a committee, the Board of Directors, or volunteering at a community event. The full report is available at www.stanzelfamilyfoundation.org/ annualreport. For more information, contact Cheryl Hudec-Pekar at 979743-9119 or cheryl@stanzelmuseum. org.
