Every spring our organization has the opportunity to attend the Texas Summit hosted by the Texas Alliance of Boys and Girls Clubs. This year, the Board Secretary Terri Brasher and the Columbus Club Director Mariza Ortiz-Verde represented Boys & Girls Clubs of Champion Valley. Summit is a two-day conference featuring sessions focused on board and staff development, area council meetings, and insights into what’s new at the Texas Alliance level.
