This week’s field trips have Saints learning about Texas government, past and present. Today, Mrs. Cantu’s 7th grade class will visit the Texas State Capitol in Austin. Tomorrow, Mrs. Hajovsky will take her 4th grade class to Washington on the Brazos.
SAS Spring sports update: Athletes of the Month for March were Abby Ful ler, Harper Kramr, and Ashlyn Bennett. Tennis teams will participate in a meet in Weimar on April 14 starting at 3:45 p.m. Also on April 14, Saints’ soccer will take on Immanuel Lutheran at 5:30 p.m. on Cardinal Field.
SAS Ambassadors recently volunteered as face painters at The Wellness Counci l of the Greater Colorado Valley’s Health and Wellness Fair. SAS Students also participated in the Colorado County Habitat for Humanity 5K run that coincided with the health fair.
The 2026-2027 SAS Cheer Squad has been selected and announced: Harper Kramr (Co-Captain), Brynn Pilat (Co-Capta in) , Nata l y Ul loa, Carley Aaron, Taitlyn Beauchamp, Ashlyn Bennett, Anslee Busselman, Kate Crosby, Kimber Nelson, Genesis Trujillo, Maddie Wright, Perri Alexander, Katherine Anderson, Nora Fuchs, Bertie Katz, Anna Kridel, and Olivia Lowe.

Upcoming events: PTC Crawfish & Shrimp Boil Drive Thru (prepaid tickets) on 4/12. PTC Meeting on April 14 at 6 p.m. IOWA standardized testing April 13-17 for grades K-7th. All are welcome at Children’s Mass each Friday at 8:15 a.m.
