SPJST Second Annual District 6 Rally Saturday, April 11 | 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. | Moravia Parish Hall, 11134 FM 957 | Schulenburg This free, communitywide event brings neighbors together for an afternoon of food, fellowship, and fun. SPJST welcomes everyone, whether they have connected to the non-profit fraternity for Czech heritage or not, for a luncheon and activities for all ages. A highlight of this year’s rally is the debut of the “Goody Grab,” an interactive prize hunt specifically for youth ages one to 17.

Eagle Lake Rabies Vaccination Clinic Thursday, April 23 | 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. | Community Center Pavilion, 100 N Walnut Ave | Eagle Lake Wharton Veterinary Clinic will conduct vaccinations for dogs and cats and will also offer flea control and dewormer. Rabies vaccines cost $16; NexGard costs $35; and dewormer costs $20. Reminder that Eagle Lake city ordinances require all dogs to have current rabies vaccination and to be registered.
