Last month, at the PSIA District Meet, 20 students from St. Anthony School qualified to compete at the State PSIA Meet this coming Saturday at Texas State University in San Marcos. Students qualifying were Carly Aaron, Laurel Becerra, Catherine Besch, Kate Crosby, Theresa Fitzgerald, Colson Glueck, Greyson Glueck, Kaden Glueck, Kyle Glueck, Louise Glueck, Natalie Glueck, Will Glueck, Hudson Henneke, Hayes Kridel, Beau Neal, Landry Venghaus, Taylor Waldrop, Khloe Warschak, Kendal Winkenwerder and Maddie Wright. Today, the Saints’ Tennis team will scrimmage with CJHS at 3:45 p.m. The SAS Soccer teams will take on Trinity in Victoria tomorrow at 5 p.m. and OLV in Victoria next Monday, April 20 as well. This Friday, the SAS girl’s softball team will participate in a tournament hosted by St. Joseph in Yoakum. Pray for nice weather.
This week, students in Kinder-7th grade are busy taking IOWA Standardized tests for their grade. This Thursday, SAS 8th graders will take the PSAT Aug. 9 test.
