Weimar has no shortage of athletes that have continued their athletic career at the college level. One that we are talking about today is Katharina Chaloupka, who is currently enjoying her freshman season at Arkansas State after winning the State Championship last year for the Weimar Ladycats. This season Chaloupka competed in three meets and competed in the pole vault event. In her first meet she cleared a height of 3.65m which is 11’11.75” and set a new personal record. In her second meet she cleared a height of 3.45m 11’3.75” to come in third place. In her third meet Chaloupka cleared a height of 3.21m which is 10’6.25” and came in 7th place. Chaloupka will continue to improve as a pole vaulter as she looks to win a medal at the college level. Citizen File Photo
